The Spanish Group for Cancer Immuno-Biotherapy (GÉTICA) is a non-profit scientific association that brings together researchers and clinicians whose common interest is tumor immunology and cancer immunotherapy. GÉTICA's primary objectives include promoting translational and clinical research, and disseminating and developing educational programs in the fields of immunotherapy and advanced biotherapies in cancer.
We are excited to present the 10th Symposium on Translational Immunology and Cancer Immunotherapy (FIT Cancer 10), the most important national event in the field of tumor immunology and cancer immunotherapy, which will be held at the NH Collection Sevilla hotel from March 14th to 16th, 2024.
Our overall aim is to promote training and continuing education in this field. Thus, we have developed a program that is fundamentally practical at a high level of scientific quality, in the fields of immunology and immunotherapy as applied to cancer; this program will have the endorsement of different scientific societies and organizations. As in previous editions, FIT Cancer 10 will bring together leading clinical specialists and expert researchers in immuno-oncology, from both Spanish and international institutes, to lead the different sessions and presentations that highlight the latest advances in the field. As immunotherapy and immunobiological therapies have become fundamental tools for addressing cancer, FIT Cancer 10—characterized by its transversal and multidisciplinary nature—will be one of the most relevant annual symposiums in Oncology in Spain.
This Symposium is aimed at oncologists, immunologists, and other medical specialists, as well as pharmacists and researchers with an interest in cancer immunology and immunotherapies. It will also provide an excellent training opportunity for the pharmaceutical industry, given the global nature of its contents.
We therefore invite you to take part in FIT Cancer 10, which we are sure will be a great success, given the medical needs in this field. We are convinced that sharing our experiences, as well as updating our knowledge in a symposium with recognized experts, will have a positive impact on our ability to treat this population of patients with immunotherapy.
